Conratulations to the boys of the Na Piarsaigh club Caherdavin who last Sunday deprived Kilmallock of a historic 5 in a row in the Limerick County U21 Hurling Final at the Gaelic Grounds. Both sides served up a vintage and wonderful open game of hurling with the Caherdavin boys taking the spoils on a scoreline of 2-13 to 3-08. The very best in the Senior Championship to Na Piarsaigh who will face Adare in the knockout stages and also to Murroe-Boher who will face Emmets in their quest for County honours!

Just wanted to take this opportunity to express sincere appreciation to our Limerick Senior Footballers who displayed great pride and passion and played some great football in this years league and 2010 Championship.A very gutsy display against Cork unfortunately fell short after extra time, but full marks to Mickey Ned O'Sullivan his backroom team and of course the panel on their proud efforts to enhance the pedigree of our county. They are wonderful ambassadors for the Treaty County and it is without doubt their overdo breakthrough will come sooner rather than later! Up Limerick!!

Justin McCarthy done his best to create a Limerick Senior Hurling squad, that failed and failed miserably. The past is just that and we must now look ahead to our emergence from the hurling wilderness in the year ahead. I am firmly of the opinion that Patrickswell great, Gary Kirby, is the man with the proven ability to manage the Limerick Senior Hurlers. Good Luck Gary!
